What is Pollution and how to avoid it?

What is Pollution:

pollution
Pollution has been defined as the adding of contaminants into the environment to the end of changing it completely. The acts of polluting the environment are done either voluntarily or involuntarily. But what is cardinal is that small acts that are aimed at correcting one problem eventually end up harming the environment. In its broader sense, pollution can take the form of adding substances which are basically chemicals or an introduction of adverse environmental conditions like heat, light, and noise. Whichever form it takes, the environment eventually loses its quality and ends up failing to provide what it was originally intended for.

Effects of Pollution:

When an environment has undergone pollution, there are many effects that are observable. In the first place if you talk of water pollution by chemical effluents coming from the factories, aquatic life is endangered and that is why fish easily dies and plants also undergo asphyxiation. In modern times there has been a lot of air pollution coming from emissions that automobiles and industrial gaseous waste continues to release into the environment. As a result, the air is no longer as clean as it used to be. And the result is that the plants have also lost their true green quality in the end. In extreme cases, pollution has also been responsible for the production of acid rain.

There are many things that can be done to avoid polluting the environment unnecessarily. Ideally, it all hinges on avoiding all activities that end up abusing the environment. There is also need to ensure that the carbon emissions, from the automobiles and industrial gaseous waste, are maintained within the acceptable levels. In fact, most countries are turning to green ways of handling technology so that the environment is not harmed in any way. Sometimes, pollution is done by people who have no idea about what they are doing. This in itself means that instead of assuming that everyone knows about the effects of pollution, it is better to protect the environment by educating people about the effects of pollution and how it can be avoided.
